The problem

Every morning starts the same way at most firms: the partner walks in, picks up where they left off, and loses the next 45 minutes piecing together what happened overnight. Five voicemails from clients and adjusters. Two new intake emails. Three court hearings today. Seven tasks that should have closed yesterday. Nobody sees the picture; everyone sees pieces.

The outcome

At 8am every weekday, Claude produces a single 1-page morning brief: unread voicemails (with AI transcripts + matter assignments), overnight intakes (triaged to case-management drafts), today's hearings (with case summaries + prep questions), and open tasks aging past their due date. You read it over coffee. 45 minutes of scramble → 5 minutes of context.

Verify before approving

Claude is fast but not infallible. These are the spots most worth a second look before you hit approve.

  • Phone-match isn't perfect — confirm the case assignment on any voicemail flagged as ambiguous.
  • AI transcripts can mishear technical terms (e.g. adjuster names) — verify before quoting.
  • Hearing prep questions are generic; add jurisdiction-specific issues based on what's before the court.
